CNY Arts Center announces a Monotype, Monoprint workshop has been scheduled with Artist Bill DeMott August 20 from 6:30 – 9pm at 11 River Glen Dr. on the Cayuga College Fulton Campus. The workshop will cover zinc-plate monotypes, collagraph monoprints and examples of screen-print monotypes.
Bill is an exhibiting artist with over one hundred group and solo shows to his credit. He currently teaches classes in Art and Art History at SUNY Oswego, Cayuga Community College and Monroe Community College. He teaches art workshops in Oswego and all across CNY. Bill has been the Exhibition Coordinator for the Art Association of Oswego
for the past 18 years.
Bill attended SUNY Oswego where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree He also earned a Master’s degree in Printmaking and Drawing from Oswego and a Master of Fine Arts degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Bill currently lives in Oswego with his wife and two sons.
Students age 16 and up are welcome to register. Class is $40/ student.
